for Tine, one of my best friends for almost a decade... she's an ornithologist currently working on getting her PhD - barn owls have been her main focus and interest and subjects of study for years now... it's a tribute to her, a friend who suceeded where I have failed...

the background is soo pretty, and the dress, I love the dress!

Advanced critique: watch the light of your renders, the flying owl's light source it different from that of the girl.

thanks for that constructive pointer! I tend to mess up my lighting in manips a lot. :/

I just solve that problem by blending a bit, merging the layers and then use a light source over the entire pic

Beautiful! I love the snowy scene, and I love how the girl looks Native American, yet is in an Americanized dress.... yet she is still connected to her roots through the owl. Well that is what I see in it. Thanks so much for using my snow texture, it looks great in here!

wow, that is a really interesting take on this image... I love your interpretation, I absolutely did not think of this, but now that you said that it actually makes a lot of sense. funny though, since my friend is everything but Native American... but I agree, on this pictures she looks like she could be. I am glad my image created such a story in your head! :)

and your snow texture is great, btw. I will probably use it again at some point, thanks for providing it! :)
